Watching live football on Sky Stream, Sky Sports UHD. Almost every time I watch there are problems with picture freezing and stuttering and sound drop outs. Broadband is fine. 100 Mbps. Have tried switching puck off/on at plug but still happens most games. Sometimes switching to the other UHD channel seems better, sometimes not. Sometimes not too bad and can put up with it but on some occasions I have given up and switched to HD channel.
Is this a known problem and is Sky trying to fix it?
Very annoying paying extra for UHD and putting up with this.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ards You may have 100mbps broadband but how is the puck connecting to your router?
Try a speed test using the netflix app in the setting menu as that will tell you the speeds reaching the puck, anything ;ess than 30mbps and yes UHD will show the symptoms you describe.

Puck is via WiFi.
Netflix 'Check your network' normally between 75 and 90 Mbps, never seen it any less than 75. Currently says 80.01 Mbps.
Never have a problem with anything else, e.g. BBC UHD, Prime UHD, Sky Cinema UHD. Only ever have a problem with live football in UHD.
Strangely this afternoon for Man U v Spurs it was freezing on SkySpME UHD even after switching puck off/on, then I switched to channel 903 Ultra HD after about 30 minutes and it was ok for the rest of the game. No idea if that was just coincidence though 🤷

I'm getting the same issue, I'm running at 450mps, and having the same issues, not worth paying for UHD.

Just to add balance, my speeds are never above 50mbps and I have been watching UHD sport for a year without any problems.
