Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

SKY SKY SKY!!!!!! Again, Sky F1 about 5 seconds out of sync. How can you not fix this issue, it's embarrassing!!

@Caz8154 changing to PCM doesn't work if you look back at the history of this discussiion you will see this has been going on for over a year. I and others have had to use PCM and it only works intermittantly.

You've been conned why pay for a basic service, that might work intermittantly, when you are paying for a full service?

Google broke their customers Chromecasts a month ago. They had a fix out in 6 days. It's absurd this problem still isn't fixed. That to me sounds like a major hardware issue. It doesn't make sense that this can't be fixed. Like the power off after 10 minutes of pause and the inability to turn off your TV with the power button. Every other device on the market doesn't behave in this way. It has to be a hardware issue.

Firmly agree @Common+Sense+Talker but Sky seem reluctant to accept the urgency to sort it and that the puck software / hardware is not adequate

I get an issue after ad breaks on F1 uhd for example.  I find if I change to another channel and back it sorts it. So for me it's something about the adverts that causes the problem.

Hi all,

I thought it was fixed but today it's been the worst it's ever been. It's happened on all channels. I've spoken with sky who only say the same of bull. I have now cancelled sky and good riddance. For everyone else I do hope they find a fix. Like many have said on this thread though don't make excuses for them as they charge a lot of money and return offer something not even close to it's worth.

I have the same issue  as above, watching F1 UHD the sync goes off during adverts.  Switching to a different channel and back seems to sort it but it is really frustrating having to do so and can mean missing a few critical moments.  Stream with a few add ons is not a cheap package and I would expect a better service than this as it has been going on for so long now.

Yes we are finding this too, the audio can be 1 or 2 seconds out, it's very bad when it happens.

This should be a pretty basic issue for Sky to fix given they manage the hardware and software.

My god this is annoying. Beyond watchable at points. I'm still in QS034..

Is there a way I can force the update because I'm paying for Atmos and getting nothing like it.
