Just noticed I'm on the QS034.023.02P the issue isn't fixed 😞

@Anonymous It's 100% a Sky issue with both puck and glass. If it were a router problem then the same would be happening with Apple TV and it doesn't and never has done. All streaming services via the ATV is perfect, first time, every time. Apparantly NowTV is also perfect when streamed via a TV or something like ATV.
My neighbour has glass but I've not enquired about it since I tried to set it up for him.

@BC1956 You're not stuck at all, phone Sky up and tell them you have these issues
Then tell them you'd like to leave penalty free as entitled to do so under the digital media act
They'll let you go Immediately penalty free, it's a legal requirement
You're welcome

^thats not necessarily true. The router is doing much more than simply providing an internet connection to connected devices.

I have the new Build Version but it has not improved the situation with lip synching. It is happening multiple times a day, to the point that Sky Stream is becoming unwatchable. We should be being refunded!

Agreed @Littletaffia all the issues are with the puck. If it was with our ISP then we would have problems with our other gadgets, which I and many others don't. Issues like this and black screen and programs waiting to load are all issues with Sky to sort

@Super+Anthony ah thats interesting so I have massive issues with sky stream (lip sync has got worse since the update this week and other issues now ocurring on 2 pucks) but no issues with amazon streaming fire stick, why would ISP affect one system and not the other? Just to qualify I don't have both online at the same time I got Sky stream to replace Virgin and amazon fire sticks but keep having to go back to my fire sticks to get a service. I have Sky BB FF 900 the issues with stream are lip sync / picture freeze / watch from start

@Mark39 Sky have now said the issue is in with them, either the Puck,Software or backend, and not the ISP. And I agree with them. I've tried it with 2 ISPs and even on a 5g connection. and simular results, other devices no problem. Sky Puck a disaster. even the old Sky Now sticks are stable

Don't forget it could be the Sky stream platform struggling with how individual networks are set up. So many variables that could conflict that even decent testing beforehand may miss things that could affect performance on some home networks but not others. So it's not a simple as saying it's not the network or that it's just the puck etc. It's finding out and trying to replicate what some users experience when others don't and what that points to as the issue. Needle in a haystack comes to mind. Sky have said they know the issue exists and working to problem solve it but that's not the same as saying it's soley the puck that's the problem because if it was that then everyone would have the issue and they don't.

Expressed far more fluently than I could. We've seen similar issues in the past with previous Sky TV platforms.
