Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

@Paul+Dray It's already set to pass through on both the Glass and Puck. It's been set to pass through since these issues started.

This is how it is, it's fine one minute then it just goes. Totally random.

Ive completed the online form which Sky posted up a few days ago, so all I can do is keep collecting evidence.

I see.. Ever since I set my puck to pass through along time ago, my system setup has no lip sync issues. Sorry you and some others are having them though.

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

Adding my name to the long list of people with issues here. For the last couple of weeks, I've needed to reset the puck almost every day to get audio caught up to video. Before then, it was less frequent, maybe once a week.

Filled out the form, but obviously expect little from sky any time soon.

Won't be relying on them for streaming in future 😁

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

I am just adding to this thread as we are having the same issue. It is on mulitple devices and multiple channels.

Watching this closely to hopefully get a fix for it as we pay so much for the service and it is getting worse and worse.

I have been through this thread and tried all the advice given and completed the online form.

Sky want us 'to belive in better'  just so you know Sky we 'expect better'

"Sky want us 'to belive in better'  just so you know Sky we 'expect better'"

Such minimalist words, so perfectly put.

@Zoltron @Freddieboy1 Agree

New year resolution for them. Fix the issues including freezing and restarts etc and then we will all be happy and to not keep saying it's our ISP or networks when it's not

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

Does everyone not think that this is getting close to a class action against Sky and their products, Are there any lawyers experiancing this issue?

What are these freezing and restart issues you're having? I've not experienced this with my Sky stream puck.

You are lucky @Paul+Dray

Mine seems to have calmed down for the time being. Hopefully Sky have been doing something in the background

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

I also have  the same issue with the lip syncing. My way to correct is to change cannel and then return to the channel I watch. It's not a satisfactory way to deal with things.

I have completed the form also

Re: Sky tv sound - constantly out of sync

Here's an example video of the sync issue. It's around 2-3 secs out of sync after the ad break, pretty consistently for about a month now. Sky Glass version:

entertainment os 1.3

build: QS034.022.00P

hardware: LT055-f2-wht

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

This ongoing issue makes using Sky Stream a very annoying experience. The value of this broken Sky service is now questionable.

The sync issues have gradually become worse over the past two or three months.

It happens on all the channels and at any time of day.

I've reset my sounds settings as suggested, regularly reboot everything but nothing resolves it. As mentioned above, the only thing that resolves it is to change channel quickly every time it occurs, which is multiple times every hour.
I've completed the questionnaire but my subscription is up in May and I will seriously be considering moving to VirginMedia if this isnt resolved.

Re: Lip Sync issues - Sky Stream

Completed the online form as well. Spoke to SKY customer service about this, figured it was a me thing or something. Wasn't taken on at all, was told if it happens again to ring in 🙂

Googled it expecting to see maybe a few people having an issue, didn't expect it to be this big. Stream suits me to be honest so hopefully they can do something as soon as.
