Linking sky accounts

I have had a sky account for over 10+ years which was used for a SkY Q subscription, more recently I added Sky broadband about six months ago. During that period I have been able to access various packages I paid for in Q, and also keep track of charges etc and also broadband costs. I recently dropped Sky Q and just used Sky Broadband. All of this I was able to access via Myskyaccount, which as expected just showed Broadband as the only current service.

In the past week I decided to sign up for Sky Stream. I did this on a call to Sky rather than online. The upshot of that is they gave me a new account number, why??, but they did. However now when I log onto 'myskyaccount' all I get access too is the newly joined package on Stream. No sign of my broadband account or bills etc. An answer probably is that my new Sky Stream has replaced the earlier Sky Q account details. The problem with that is that the Sky Q account is still used billing broadband charges. At the moment I don't have any access to my  Broadband charges, past and present.

i understand that broadband is billed separately now from TV which is fine by me, however I still need to access my bills etc, which is not an option right now. I am hoping that linking may be the answer,  but not sure if that's feasible with two different account numbers.

Hope to pick up tips from others who have had similar frustrating experiences

Thanks Lettice for your assurance. That seems to make sense, but I'm not at the 31 days yet, so hopeful what you say will happen then🤞

Hi @Geoffbee

They are separate systems you cannot have a Q account and a stream / glass account. However in the my sky app you should see an option to change between "streaming TV", your old sky Q account and mobile etc.

Are you not seeing the options or are you getting an error?

When you take Sky Glass or Sky Stream, it will show in MySky as a separate billing account, called Streaming TV, under Billing & Payments.

After 31 days your Sky Q and broadband billing will, just show your broadband billing and will be listed in MySky under Billing & Payments as Broadband & Talk.

There is no form of further linking, it will show in MySky as two billing accounts under your MySky billing.

Have a read of this first bill article, that details some of how I it plays out in the first few days and the overlap in the first month.
