I have a new Puck but when I try to link the account I receive
Oops there has been a problem
Please call us so we can help resolve the issue and complete this action.
Then when I ring the number on screen, whichever combination of menu option I chosr all I get it some useless text message. Is there any way to actually interact with a human to get this thing resolved because I'm beginning to think I made a massive mistake switching to Sky.

When you try, make sure you login to www.sky.com first with the details you used to order and then press the link below

Many thanks @Tim+Adams , I actually managed to speak to someone this morning who advised that they are applying security patches to their software today and that the part of the system that carries out the linking might be down until tomorrow morning.

Hi @Ginko63 I had that issue last night when I factory reset my puck linked it via the My Sky app
Log into My Sky on a mobile device if you have the app installed
Home screen select Product settings then select Sky Stream tv
Select Activate new device enter code displayed on your tv
Follow onscreen instructions
