We need to move off of Sky Q as our dish now blocked by trees. Sky Stream seems the obvious alternative but unclear if it has the same Kids Safe Mode which we find useful for our youngest.
Could anyone who has made the switch confirm if it is the same please?
Thanks in advance.

No there isn't a specific kids mode on glass door stream's entertainment OS. You can only lock down specific content and apps as described in the link posted by @Nigelb1972

You can enable PIN protection in the same way I believe so anything inappropriate for children will need a PIN to unblock.

Thanks, I know there are parental controls
but we like that you can put it in a separate profile where even the previews, adverts etc are all locked down.
We've actually just got the EE streaming equivalent and it's just not as good a setup as safe mode on Sky Q. We'd probably jump back to Sky if we got that with Stream but the explanation isn't clear on their website, so looking for some real world experience.

Thanks both. Yes, doesn't sound like the parental controls are as neatly bundled for Stream, seems a bit of a miss.
We'll persevere with EE as sounds as though they're broadly the same (except for the price!).
