Itvx app not updating

For a week now when I attempt to watch the latest episode of coronation street it hasn't updated. To get it to pull through i have to reset apps and then close apps before going back in and then the latest episode has pulled through. Anyone else having issues, and anyone got a permanent fix has I am having to do this daily.
