Last few days ITV 1 is having issues with picture only on the puk it's getting less each day but not solved still

Apologies if this has been covered recently, but I couldn't find a similar thread.

Is anyone else experience issues with picture quality on ITV live programming? I've had it for a few days now where the picture quality looks more like SD than HD like on ITVX. My local region is Anglia and Meridian is just the same for me.

Doesn't appear to affect any other live channels that I watch regularly.

I've recently got sky stream, really happy with it. However, the last couple of days itvhd has has picture issues. Quite a lot of judder and motion issues. No problems with itvx it's just the main channel. Tried changing settings to 1080i/p which helps a little bit but not much. Anyone else had issues?

Exactly the same for me last couple of days .. I get the issue with ITV HD Granada Region it's been like this for the last couple of days .. normally the picture quality of ITV HD is excellent but something has definitely happened during the last couple of days.  I'm viewing on a puck through my LG Oled C3 all other channels including ITV2 are excellent so it just seems to be this one channel that has the issue.

I've just checked the ITV 1 live stream on ITVX and, to put it mildly, it's shocking. Obviously an ITV streaming issue.

ITV1 is streaming perfectly via ITVX on both my Samsung TV and my Apple TV 4K box. I've just checked both and they look good. Especially via the Apple TV box - it's pin sharp, no judder and in sync. 

How bad does it look via the puck? Is it juddering? Do you have judder reduction turned on or off on your puck? Ideally you want it to be off so that it outputs at 50hz which is the native rate for UK streaming apps. You want it on for Netflix/Prime/Disney+ etc where most of the content is more likely to be 60Hz or 24fps.

ITVX is perfectly fine on sky stream, its just ITV1. ITV2, 3 AND 4 are fine too. Even the adverts are fine it's just the programmes, live or recorded that is the problem. Complained to Sky, whether anything will be anyone's guess

Having the same issue on all ITV channels.

Reached out to Sky on Twitter who said they weren't aware of any broadcast issues. Just looks like the frame rate is around half of what it should be

Can on of the super users please raise this to the attention of  sky staff on the boards . This appears to be a wide spread issue. The purpose of this board is to discuss issues and for them to be resolved

My ITV also having the same issues and noticed that most of the programmes also have that 'filmic' look, so watching Emmerdale feels like I'm watching Hollyoaks

The ITV1 stream is suffering from interlacing causing jagged lines to appear on quick moving objects.

I've reported the issue to viewer relations....whether anything come from it remains to be seen

I have just checked ITV1 on virgin stream and suffering from the same issue. So appears to be a fault at ITV end
