Issues with Voice
Recently started Sky Stream whole home - 2 pucks. Lounge setup worked fine. Voice control, favourite channels etc.. The remote on the bedroom puck whilst controlling the TV fine would not accept any voice commands. I contacted Sky and they sent me a new remote and this fixed it. All working just fine in the bedroom with voice control
However ! - then lounge remote stopped accepting voice commands. Looking at some articles, I turned off and removed the power to the puck for a while, turned back on and did 7 and 9 followed by 1 and 3 on the remote to re-pair and all working just fine
... but next day no voice commands - everything controlled by remote fine but no voice control
I am doing the same resets today but if it fixes it and then proceeeds to lose voice next day then back to square one
For info, like most people I simply turn off TV and leave puck and TV in standby i.e. with power switches on - I don't know whether that makes a difference
Also, How does voice on the microphone work? - is it Bluetooth? I ask because the puck is tucked away behind the TV not in line of sight with the remote
Thanks

Re: Issues with Voice
There is no need to power on and off the puck at the socket in general use.
On the puck;
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.
Different ways to get to the settings menu;
Hit the . . . button on your remote and select settings, use voice saying 'settings' or scroll down to the settings menu on the home menu.
Yes the remote does use Bluetooth via the remote for voice option.
What may help also is a restart of your broadband router/hub to make sure you are connecting correctly with the puck for the voice and other options.
Now and again, say once a month, voice does drop off sometimes for some customers. A restart of the puck as above does normally cure that.
Sky Stream with two pucks via wifi (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
