Re: Installing

do it yourself.

sky should have sent you an email for the pucks.
It says, connect HDMI cable to your telly & puck.
connect power lead to puck & plug it in,

turn on telly & follow on-screen guide.

If you already have BB from any supplier, you can fire up the pucks now.

As for BB installation, depends. If it is full fibre and you do not have fibre already installed in your house, they will hve to run the fibre from the pole or though a duct and fit the fibre terminating box.

If you are having copper to the house and already have the phone socket, then, you just plug it all together yourself.
They just sent me their router and left me to plug it into the phone socket.

If you describe fully what you have now and what yuou have ordered from sky, it will be easier to give you a full anser.

For BB, would be better to post your query in the BB section of the forum.

I don't work for sky, receive any gratuities or discounts. They do however pay me in badges 🐵

If I have helped, please click the thumb 🐵

A Stream puck has zero functionality without an internet connection, and the installation process won't proceed in its absence.

if you currently have  a broadband connection from another provider, you can connect a Sky Stream puck to that broadband.

So, you do not have to wait for your new Sky broadband to become active.

If you currently do not have any broadband, you will need to wait for the Sky broadband to be installed, as the Sky Stream puck will not function without any kind of broadband connection.
