I feel discouraged about setting up Stream.

I recently signed up to Sky Stream and maybe I am just dumb but I cannot connect or even reach the home screen.I have tried to update the software but it keeps hanging.I spoke with the call centre and they exchanged my box and I am still  facing the same problems.How difficult or easy is it to sort out connection??I feel so discouraged.

Hi @nmaketiwa  Generally setting up a Stream puck should be a simple procedure taking only a few minutes.  If you are able to, try connecting the puck to your router by an Ethernet cable to get you past the updating software stage if it keeps failing. Also, make sure you are signed into your My Sky account at www.sky.com  and that you are using the same email address that is registered to your account.

 

During the setup procedure you will be asked for a PIN number.  By default this is the last 4 numbers of your phone number registered to your Sky account.
