How to find catch up channels on Sky Stream?

How on earth do you find the catch up channels on sky stream? So infuriating...

I have read other discussions but replies are always vague and often unhelpful eg go to channels and press middle button and it seperates on demand content (it doesn't though?)

so how do you access catch up content like sky documentaries or Gold?

When I go to the Sky app in the apps list it just has categories eg British, comedy, thrillers etc and top recommendations etc.

How do I actually find a list of channels so I can choose which shows on catch up to watch  ?

it is so user unfriendly ...very infuriating

@MaroochyDazza  Have you tried the freely available user guides?  https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-stream/using-sky-stream

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: How to find catch up channels on Sky Stream?

None of those user guides explain how to access catch up channels ...they simply say how to find / install apps like Netflix etc

I can see from various threads lots of customers seem to have same issue.

For example, if I want to watch a documentary on sky documentary channel how do I access it On the sky app on sky stream it doesn't list channels just categories (which wouldn't list all the shows on the documtary channel )

really clunky and complicated user interface

Re: How to find catch up channels on Sky Stream?

if you know what you want to watch, use search.

For a list of documentaries look on the NowTV website and then use search on stream

https://www.nowtv.com/stream/sky-documentaries/page/5

If that list is on Stream I haven't found it yet. Somebody might know.

Press the Home button

Select TV shows

Go down to Genres

Select Factual

Re: How to find catch up channels on Sky Stream?

Unless I've missed something, the "factual" section only includes a very small number of the documentaries that are on the NowTV list and which are available to watch on Stream

Re: How to find catch up channels on Sky Stream?

It frustrates me too, because the earlier version of the Sky glass menu was far easier to navigate. I just spent an hour trying to figure out how to access the History Channel catch up menu. Thank you ☺️

Re: How to find catch up channels on Sky Stream?

I have been searching how to get the Sky History list for all their programmes on Sky Stream and cannot find at all.

Have tried going in different ways, genres (just in case) and cannot see.

Can someone advise the best way.

Thank you 😊

@Jewels3057 When on the Stream Home page, on the 2nd rail scroll to TV Shows. Then on the TV shows page scroll down until you find the rail called Sky Channels, then if you scroll to the right you will find a tile for Sky History.

Hi Mark

Many thanks for the quick reply.

Undser Genres in TV Shows, no History Genre - one or 2 programmes under factual but no way to get a fuller list.

Or just use your Sky remote and say 'Sky History on demand'

That brings up the same rails as Home>TV Shows>Sky Channels> Sky history

Correct, the Genre rail isn't the correct one to list all the Sky History content. You need to scroll down to the Sky Channels rail on the TV Shows screen, or as @lettice suggested, try a voice search.
