How do you edit posts once sent?

Incidentally, how does one edit a post after sending?

You need to reach level 3 on the forum before you can edit your own posts:

And how do I know when I have reached level 3?
I have to say what a pointless rule! Editing posts is a right that should be available from the outset!

Click the three dots at the top right of the message you want to edit, then take the edit reply option from the drop down list.

But you only have 2 hours from the original post timestamp to edit after which it permanently locks
