When watching streamed programmes

1. There only seems to be 2x - which is not helpful and 6x which moves the stream on too quickly,

2 When "skipping " ads it only works on catchup TV and then only until the TV catches up. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

As slipping works differently depending on the app being used. With ad skipping you can fast forward ads on catch up services but the fast forward speeds differ, for instance the fast forward speed on the Channel 4 app is different to what is available on the ITV X app for instance.

when it comes to using the "watch from start " feature on live programming you can fast forward but only until you have caught up with the live broadcast.

'Skipping' advertising on a live EPG-listed channel is impossible because the content following the break has not yet been transmitted. Would be handy to find out a result ahead of time, though...
