Only on Sky OS 2.0 which is currently in beta.

If you're not on the trial you'll need to wait for the final release of the OS. No date has been given.

No one has mentioned a phone, the reply was in relation to your Sky Stream puck

Sky Stream pucks and Sky Glass TVs run an operating system called SkyOS.

The current version of SkyOS does not allow the device to come out of standby straight to live TV.

The new version of SkyOS, known as SkyOS 2.0, is currently in a beta test and does allow the Stream puck and Glass TV to come out of standby straight to live TV.
There is no confirmed date for when Sky OS 2.0 will release to all customers.

This is a feature that some customers have had for months.

It is available on both Sky OS 1.3 and Sky OS 2.0

Sky has selected customers of this feature with an A/B selection test of the feature, so not all customers will see it.

In the Sky Stream settings under Start up & Standby there is an option to turn 'Deafult to live Tv' on/off.
