Cant watch the FA Cup, despite having HBO Max included in my plan.

How does this work, as the sky website is no help.

You need to subscribe to TNT Sports via Sky to gain access

Only basic with ads is included

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

When I scan the QR code on screen it takes me to the website and when I click activate now it just says we can't do that right now.
I've tried activating on the app on two different phones, laptop and via the QR code on Sky. Same message every time.
Had the same issue with Paramount when I first got Sky and it took many phone calls to get that sorted.
Majority of the shows I watch were on sky Atlantic so now I can't watch them as HBO isn't working. Even when I do finally get it working I'll be watching the same
shows as before but now with ads.
Definitly a downgrade not an upgrade.
Any tips on how to get it working?

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I would like to cancel my contract under clause 12.4(d). As a Sky Essential customer I do not have access to HBO Max without upgrading to Sky Ultimate.

I believe there has been a reduction in the level of service provided under my package. A significant part of the value of my subscription was access to HBO content via Sky Atlantic, including well-known box sets. This content has now been removed from the platform and is no longer included within my current package, requiring an additional subscription to access what was previously available.

As a result, I consider that I have been materially disadvantaged, as I am now required to pay more to receive substantially the same content offering that formed part of my original decision to enter into the contract.

@Rakib1

Personally I'd think that's a reasonable argument, but it won't get to Sky in relation to your particular subscription by posting here.

Re: HBO MAX

Scratch that, the majority are no longer available in 4k unless I pay the extra £10.

Re: HBO MAX

It would be helpful if it actually helped and solved the problem but it doesn't. Clicking the activation link always gets to 'somethings gone wrong!. HBO deny it's their issue and the problem is all Sky's. So come on Sky, pay attention and fix it.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

My Dad has the same issue despite it working fine for me when I activated my own entitlement.

Was on a long chat with Sky support the other day but they refused to help and just told me to contact HBO Max.

Has anyone got any further with this?

I have been onto HBO and they have said it's 100 percent sky's issue as account is with sky and they can't access my sky account to activate due to General Data Protection Regulations. I had the same issue when disney plus was released and it just fixed itself.
