Re: Can’t activate HBO Max
Similar here. I get a message from Sky
We can't do that at the moment
We hope to have everything back to normal soon. Please try again later
I spoke to Sky support who were adamant the issue is with HBO. I spoke to their support. They have asked me to try different things. Different browser, different device, power off device, power off Stream box, send copy of error, send copy of screenshot of Sky Stream box (HOW?) etc. etc.
What next,
Ridiculous

@MarcMarquez wrote:Is it possible to undo (deactivate) HBOMax and go back to On demand and sky atlantic to view shows such as the Sopranos?
Looks like not. I'm on Sky Essential TV which does have Sky Atlantic, but doesn't included HBO Max. Many shows previously available on Sky Atlantic are now no longer available. Selecting them on Stream dashboard takes me to the HBO Max app, which as I dont get, just gives me the activation screen,. So, much of Sky Atlantic content has now been removed, nothing to do with whether or not you have HBO Max.

Their rights to Pre April 2022 titles (that are part of HBO output deal) have expired on Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy and Sky Documentaries, this was always going to happen.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
The amount of ads on hbo max makes it unwatchable for me. There are way more than any other basic tier streaming service.

Can't activate this. Tried through MySky on phone and through various webbrowesers but while I can get to HBO max, the final activation doesn't happen as 'there is a problem contacting your provider account'. No real solution on Sky community pages.

Re: Can’t activate HBO Max
Its a sky issue nothing to do with HBO as they can't see sky's system.
Ask to be put through to sky's technical department who can clear the system that then will allow you to start the activation again

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
When HBO max introduced an ad tier in the USA they promised never to put adverts within programmes. They broke the promise within 12 months. I am not giving them £5 of my money. I subscribe to sky cinema and I have sky atlantic
