I was getting mixed messages online as to whether Sky Signature qualified seems that it doesn't

HBO isuse

Activated HBO on the first day and worked fine. Then realised I should of used a different email so then I have hbo from Sky and hbo with tnt from bt on the same account.

So spoke to sky and the person said they will cancel hbo then you can start the process again. Well you can't and it doesn't work. Had HBO reactivated through sky yesterday and its says no active subscription.

So phoned up again told them there's no active subscription but on sky's system its saying active on hbo system its saying not active 🤦

Hi,

I have tried going through the subscription activation but it says its not available in ky region or current provider. Any help available?

Re: Unable to access Paramount+

I would check with paramount + first to see if they can see if you have an active subscription. If not none of the above will do a thing.

Tried it all with hbo

Have you tried on a different web browser or device to complete the activation page as above or tried on 4g/5g rather than your broadband connection.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I've activated my subscription with no issues but the basic package with ads completely butchers the programs.  The ads just chop in halfway through a scene and we miss key pars of the action - sometimes entire scenes. Not what I expect from Sky.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Am I missing something obvious? I pay for Atlantic and ad-free, I now get "free" HBO Max, but can no longer find the show I want on Atlantic on demand, so now need to pay for another ad-free on the "free" HBO Max?

Feels like another rip off to me, but feel free to tell me where I'm missing the obvious.

HBO (Warner Bros Discovery Ltd) is not Sky.

Unfortunately 'the obvious' is that WBD are under huge pressure from their stockholders to actually make some money after several years of huge expenditure and what looks suspiciously like a degree of corporate chaos.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

But Sky are hosting the service on their platform, no?  I expect anything within thrir 'wrapper' to be of a certain technical quality.  This clearly isn't.
