Getting started

I have three stream pucks, all working fine. All apps are working, all channels load correctly.

However, one of them, the first one I setup, keeps displaying the "Getting Started" button and banner. These have disappeared from the other two. Plus where it displays the apps it always say "Log in" and "You should log in".

Wondering whether just to reset it and start again?

Hi @antonypg

Have you tried powering it off for 5 minutes and trying again? You can follow the recovery process as outlined in step 4 here to reset the puck: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/power-issue-help-sky-glass-sky-stream-puck

Ignore the other steps as not relevant to your issue. Sky don't recommend you reset without their assistance, but as your have been unable to set up you've not really got much to loose.

Also Sky were suffering from some issue the last couple of days with their systems, which may have had impact. Not sure if this is related (your issue is slightly different) but try again with an ethernet cable plugged in (just for setup).

Re: Getting started

The puck was working perfectly apart from displaying the "Getting Started" button (before the Playlist button) and the "Getting Started" banner half way down the home menu. These had dissapeared on my other pucks. It also said I should log in to get access to the apps even though all of the apps were actually working fine.

I removed power for 5 seconds then restarted, workling fine now, no mention of "Getting Started" anywhere.
