Faulty remote

I have just received and set up our new sky stream equipment however the remote is working intermittently. Please advise

@Dixie65  Welcome to the forum.  Unlike the reliable Sky Q remotes the Glass/Stream remotes are always causing issues  As an initial step I would reboot your stream just in case there is a minor software glitch.  To do this simply switch it off at the plug socket for a minute before switching it on again. I will take about a minute to reboot.

 

Then, if necessary, try clearing the remote and pairing it again as follows:

 

  1. Press 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds (This resets/clears the remote)
  2. Press 4 and 6 together for three seconds (IR mode)
  3. Press 1 and 3 together for three seconds (bluetooth mode).  A connected message should appear on your screen, press continue and it's all done.

If none of the above has helped then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote 

 

If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.
