This is one of many, many issues with Sky Stream. It's now got to the point of being irreparable. They need to scrap it and start again. Anyway, after 17 months of giving it a go, I will be cancelling it all tomorrow and I know that will be £70+ a month well saved.
Good luck to those of you still hanging on to hope!

Hi @Daniel-F This issue is stil ongoing. It looks like you have had many responses describing different set ups but still getting audio dropouts.
Has there been any progress to solve this issue?
There are many frustrated sky stream customers on this forum!

Got to say, as a new customer I'm getting pretty despondent about this. We pay extra for Netflix premium along with extra for UHD and Atmos. Are SKY just ignoring this altogether? An update would be appreciated at the very least.

I think the radio silence is Sky's way of saying there's an issue but they don't know what to do about it.

I posted before as a new customer that I'm having these issues non-stop with Atmos content via my Denon Amp.
In the last couple of nights I've used headphones connected to the tv and have the same dropouts on my headphones when anything atmos is played. If the Sky Stream source doesn't have atmos, no drop outs at all on my amp / headphones.
I've used at least 5 other 4k Atmos devices through this tv and have never once experienced any kind of drop out before now, so I know it's down to the box.

@Bright6 it doesn't appear to be the actual hardware itself as that's manufactured by Xumo and is sold as a standalone box in other countries and is also used by Comcast in other territories as their streaming puck.
Everything points to it being a software issue.

Xumo do not manufacture the hardware. They are just a re-seller.
The Stream puck/Xumo Stream Box/XiOne/Hubbl Hub are all essentially the same slave device released by Comcast in 2021, with slight variances in the plastic outer shell and remote design.
The Atmos drop-out issue might be a software issue or it might be an inherent issue with the server-based 'Global Technology Platform' which hosts everything that the slave hardware then receives and outputs to your TV.

... i wouldn’t be too hard on the stream box for this issue, a quick google does show it’s not solely a sky problem, seems quite widespread on different platforms.
Others do mention changing cables, though that hasn’t fixed it for me.
at least Sky is looking into it, even though they havent responded with a solution yet

@Mister_Dalek ahh my bad. On my Google's, everything pointed to Xumo being the manufacturer..

@M3rk I was reading through some Reddit threads yesterday and I saw that VM Stream users were having a similar issue. So is there potentially a bandwidth bottle neck elsewhere?? 🤔

Out of curiosity, on what content? What is her Apple TV box connected to and how?
I've been using 2 x Apple TV 4K boxes for nearly a year now. I watch a LOT of 4K Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos content from various sources - Apple TV+, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Max, Peacock, and iTunes purchased movies . I've maybe had one split second audio drop out in all that time which wasn't there when I skipped back and played it again, pointing to a momentary glitch on my network.

Apple TV plugged into HDMI 2.1 port using a HDMI 2.1 cable.
I watch Netflix in Atmos/Vision and Now TV in Atmos/UHD with no issue so far.
Also have PS5 plugged into HDMI 2.1 port and have had no issues with any Atmos content on any multimedia apps or games. I don't really use for media any more since getting Apple TV.
