Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

It has been confirmed by Sky that my Disney account has now been activited, as part of my Sky package, however I have just been charged my previous £5.99 by Disney. I have tried to contact Disney about this, but have just been going round in circles online and have not been able to engage with an online agent (I am unable to call them). Would anyone know why Disney would still be charging the same as before if it is not suppose to be free with Sky?

My previous message should say "Would anyone know why Disney would still be charging the same as before if it is NOW suppose to be free with Sky?"

I think as long as you have linked the accounts by using the same email address during set up with Sky, it will be done automatically. I also cancelled my temporarily paused subscription on the Disney app account but it still reverted to "paused" anyway and I have now automatically received a refund for the remaining months of my annual subscription.

@Carter94

For Essential TV on Stream, bundled Disney+ is only available if Sky Cinema is on the account.

I have spoke to both and Disney plus confirmed my sky account had not synced. On the Sky end they said it had. So Disney were charging me x amount monthly and Sky £4 for standard package.  Neither side could resolve the sync issue. It's been as pain

Re: Sky stream

So if I cancel my Disney plus and as I'm on ultimate tv I will get Disney plus for free basically but with standard ads

You don't need to cancel your existing Disney+ account - you merely switch the billing to Sky and save £5.99pm. You then pay the difference for ad-free or Premium if you so wish.

Connecting to Disney+ through Sky

Everytime I try to connect to Disney+ through my new Samsung TV it will not accept the 6 digit passcode number into the screen. It leterally will type into the screen, what is wrong with it?

Why am I being charged £4 for Disney when it's free

@birkielass sounds like you might have accidentally signed up to a package without adds? It's only Standard with adds that's free.

Open your My Sky app >TV >Manage Products and just double check what package option you've selected.

Hope you get it sorted.

No I haven't, I did have Disney but cancelled when sky was giving it with package, phoned them said it's because I have a different email on Disney than sky, changed it all and they still want to charge me. They can't seem to sync it...

So if you know the reason why the need for this post?

Perhaps you could cancel your previous Disney+ account and use the email address you have with Sky to set up a new account.

However given the upgrade to Disney+ without adds is £4 I believe it would almost certainly be something to do with that.

You clearly not signed up correctly, most of these issues are user error.
