I've got 'Standard with Ads' activated, but can I upgrade to 'Standard' for a couple of months and then downgrade back to 'Standard with Ads'?
No reason why not, and even better you can manage it yourself via your account.

Sorry what?
The Standard supported by Ads is free, Standard without Ads is an additional £4, the top Premium tier with UHD etc is £9 extra per month.

It's not working at all. I have received email that it is now part ofy subscription 2 days ago, yet it won't let me activate.
Instead, it keeps asking me to set up payment via card.
This is very misleading, not happy at all.
The Standard with Ads tier is free but needs to be activated, either by linking an existing Disney subscription (active or not) to the Sky account. It's through Sky marketplace (not your Sky bill) and needs payment details attached even for the free version.

Hi, we currently have a premium Disney+ subscription paid yearly via Disney, it's due to renew imminently so thinking of switching to paying via Sky. If I do this can I still watch Disney+ via my Smart TV or iPad etc?

Yes you can.
The way you can watch Disney + won't change, what happens is that the billing switches from direct with Disney to via Sky

It probably would cost Sky depending on how the deal with Disney is structured but that aside can you not call them and try to get a replacement Q box even if a new contract is needed? You could always try and negotiate either a better deal or at least the same deal you're on now?

That will be likely be because Sky + cant support apps and therefore can't use the Sky Marketplace billing process.
Any back-end changes that would be required just wouldn't happen due to that platform having been end of life for quite a while now.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I already had an annual subscription direct with Disney and used the app within Sky to access it (as well as on other devices). Do I need to cancel my subscription direct with Disney in order to get a refund on the balance of my annual payment or will it all just happen automatically in the next couple of weeks?? Thanks in advance

Disney will refund annual customers in around 14 days to the same payment method you had on your Disney account.
You do not need to do anything.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I received an email from Sky to say I'd got Disney+ with ads for free. I have Sky Q and the Sky Signature but TV package but when I try to activate (via the Sky Q box) I get told I'm not eligible. The despite Sky say I do. Frankly, it's a farce. Need to get their act together.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
So I pay annually with paypal for the higher tear was already thinking going down to standard yearly but with the new sky option yay but a few questions
1 if any one know if I transfer to standard on Disney + then activate on sky I'll be asked to pay 4£ upfront and then monthly does this have to be card or can I still use PayPal
2. if I change to standard with ads on Disney + then activate will I need to still provide a card or PayPal
Haven't seen any clarification on these thanks for help in advance
