@Slaine2k wrote:So I pay annually with paypal for the higher tear was already thinking going down to standard yearly but with the new sky option yay but a few questions
1 if any one know if I transfer to standard on Disney + then activate on sky I'll be asked to pay 4£ upfront and then monthly does this have to be card or can I still use PayPal
2. if I change to standard with ads on Disney + then activate will I need to still provide a card or PayPal
Haven't seen any clarification on these thanks for help in advance
@Slaine2k To answer both of your questions the answer is a credit/debit card is required for both, palpay is not an option
the card is required for number two to enable upgrading in the future if you so wish

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Anybody know how to get it working on additional pucks? Linked accent fine on main TV but no luck on the others in the house.
if I select 'get Disney plus' takes me to a screen that says I have standard with ads subscription and can upgrade if I want ok so if I have a subscription why won't it open ?
if I select login the QR takes me to Disney to log in, and my sky creds on a dont work there.
had the same issue trying open the app on my phone the other day and just gave up.
how is it supposed to work on other devices?

Ignore the above , used a one time code to login to the Disney site and it seems to have linked now

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I did used to subscribe with Disney+ for my daughter, but was looking forward to no longer forking out for it separately.
So got the email on Wednesday telling me the package was now part of my package and just needs activation.
So, knowing my current subscription renews on Tuesday, thought i better cancel it and then activate my 'free' subscription (I think paying Sky £140 a month is enough) through Sky.
So cancelled Disney+.
I tried to activate through the email link, but it just crashes out saying that I don't already have a subscription. Duh. But the email states it's easier to do through Sky.
So have been trying through the links on my puck. But on the activation box it just states 'Starts soon'!
Is this a joke?
Did nobody test this?
This isn't the first time recently that a multimillion company doesn't seem to have competent tech staff. I spent weeks with this company where their payment system was failing. Then their Tech staff admitted that they'd gone through a major upgrade. So after blaming my bank, making me jump through all sorts of hoops with my bank. Which wasted hours on the phone. I thought I'd try an andriod app clearing cache process that I had to do as part of a process to factory reset a robot I owned. Tried their app after flushing the cache and deleting stored data *belt and braces) and voila it worked. So fixed it with no help from their staff. I let them know because there will be others in the same situation. But I shouldn't have to. Companies should test these issues properly rather than leave customers to fix problems for them.

Disney
Even though I don't generally watch films as I struggle to focus, I have to say Disney plus app is great. Thank you Sky

Why is it trying to charge me £4 if it's free?

@Groove07885 You need to login with the credentials you used when the Disney + account was created. Whilst the email address may be the same email address you use for Sky, the password won't necessarily be the same unless you set it up to be the same ( which isn't advisable, as its always best to have different passwords for each account in case one gets breached).

That £4 would be the upgrade fee to Standard Without Ads. Its the standard with ads which is free ( with the upgrade to other teirs being cheaper than going direct with Disney).

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
If you want to keep the Disney+ account you have with another provider (eg. O2), can you still use that account on your Sky stream box? ie can you still use a non-Sky managed Disney+ account on your Sky hardware?

Mine is saying it is activated but it won't let us watch it! Keeps us on the page which has the subscription options, even though it says £0 with ads active, we don't have an option to move forward any further?

you also have the option of paying through a bank direct debit (if being managed through Sky) ?

No, it doesn't appear on your Sky DD subscription, it's still debit or credit card only.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Hello,
Apologies if this has been covered already. I currently pay annually for Disney+ premium with one extra member. If I transfer to sky, would i still keep my extra member ?
Thanks.
