Discovery plus on Stream - no Olympic streams ???

Do we get the Olympic streams  with Discovery Plus app on Stream ?  I have activated the app, and can watch regular sports, Regarding the Olympics, can watch anything marked "Earlier today" and on previous days, but trying any of the live streams get message "Sorry, this content isn't available with your content pass from your affiliate provider...." ??

According to the Sky Q box, I already am entitled to Discovery plus and I have set up an account and linked it to the TV as per the Sky help pages.

However if I try to watch any of the olympics content, I get a message that I need to upgrade?

Is the Discovery plus Oolymic coverage supposed to be included in the package what we get in our Sky Q subscription?

Actually I think I have solved this - it seems like I must have set up a different discovery + account and linked it to Sky under a different email address long ago.  Once I figured that out and logged in with that account, now I can watch.

I assumed that I had to set up an account on the same email address as my Sky account but seems not -= seems like I must have already done this a long time ago but failed to keep a record of it!

I know that I get Discovery+ as part of my Sky package. I have the Entertainment package, Cinema and Netflix.

I can't view the Discovery+ coverage of the Olympics. I'm assuming it's to do with the type of subscription I have - but can anyone clarify what Olympics content is available on Discovery with what Sky subscription?

if your discovery + account was properly set up linked to SKY you should get all the Olympics feeds

The Olympics started on Wednesday 😉

If useful to anyone else with the same problem, I've spoken to Sky: they've confirmed this is a known issue (they have at least two problems with Discovery+ accounts at the moment). The one that I'm experiencing is an issue for which they haven't yet identified a cause and don't have a resolution date. 

Fingers crossed they can get it fixed soon...

The basic package (Sky Signature on Sky Q/ Sky Ultimate TV on Sky Glass & Stream) also includes the Standard Discovery+ package which includes all channels except TNT Sports in the UK. (TNT Sports in not available in Ireland on Discovery+).  

All Paris 2024 games are available on Discovery+.

Also, Paris 2024 coverage is available on Eurosport (UK & Ireland), BBC (UK & Ireland) and RTÉ (Ireland)*.

Certainly, but we've been advised that Discovery has placeholders for upcoming Olympic coverage which are causing confusion.

These may generate the message "Sorry, this content is not available to watch with your current pass from your affiliate provider " which isn't actually correct.

That's apparently an error being generated by Discovery+ Olympic coverage placeholders which don't have any content yet.

We've been notified that it's being investigated.

Thanks for that info,  But there were live streams earlier which I'd have thought would've had content - some of the football and rugby sevens.    Those on Eurosport 1 & 2 worked fine.  The others gave same message.

So Discovery+ has started streaming the opening ceremony, yet this issue is still not fixed and (as of 4.30pm) Sky still doesn't know how to fix it. Not very good when the home page of Sky Glass is plastered with Olympics promos...

It's a discovery + issue not a Sky issue. Sky have reported the problem to their contacts at WBD but there is little Sky can do to fix an issue with a third party app.
