If you have a back up device such as a Firestick, Roku, or the app on your Smart TV you will Discovery+ still works🙂

So you think the problem relates to which sky server your puck connects to! Can you choose or change server?

If there was a fix that customers could do Sky would have communicated that on this forum as they have done with previous issues.

 

Once there is a fix or update the post tagged as "answer" will be updated by the Sky Commubity Team.

Thanks for the link... I've tried the turning off for 10 minutes and all other things but still no good... anyone at sky or discovery care to help / assist?

If you have read the link to the other thread you will see there is no fix. Just read the post marked as answer which will get updated on that thread as Sky have more information to share.

I have also had this problem and yhe only way i have been able to get it to work is by doing a factory reset i have had to do tis several times but it has only happened on my sky glass TV the streaming Pucks on other TVs have been fine

OK problem can effect sky q or stream puck.  It does not relate to a location or IP address.  A factory reset only temporarily fixes problem on either Q or puck but then within 24hrs same error 400 no Internet shows up.  One theory says that one or more sky servers is effected with bug, other servers are fine and those apps connected to these servers operate correctly.  Hope this helps the sky software engineers if they read it!

It began with us with our lounge puc, the dining room one was fine and the bedroom one. We changed over the puc in the dining room to see if that worked in the lounge , it didn't and now the puc in the dining room doesn't work either now! So far the bedroom still does.

Sky Glass/Sky Stream

It's not the same setup as using a streaming apps on other devices Laptop/FireStick/Apple TV 4K box /Chromecast with Google TV 4K  other smart Tv's etc as the apps are stored on those devices itself

That is how you yourself can add or remove a app on those devices

 

Apps on Sky Q/Glass/Sky Stream are hosted on a Sky Server not the device itself  that is why you can't add or remove apps yourself 

 

There is multiple Sky Servers that provide connection to a providers app content that is why some customers are not having connection issue as their Sky Glass/Sky Stream get routed to a server that is not having a issue.

 

Sky/Discovery + need find what servers are affected to do a fix 

That can be a simple fix or complicated 

It might also be a Sky server with discovery+ corrupted file

Guess what Sky are still claiming there are no service issues to their streaming services despite the thousands soon to be millions with the Discovery plus problem

I reported this issue last Friday and was told it was an issue and had been escalated.  The issue is however still not mentioned on the main Sky website as a service issue!  The cover up is always worse than the problem!

I alo have the error code 400 no Internet connection whilst trying to log into my discovery + app. Glad I've seen this thread and know its not just me now. I'm on a sky glass TV. So annoying and hope they fix it ASAP.
