The channel itself is working presumably you mean the app?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

The thing I find weird about all of this is that I don't have any issues with Discovery+ or Sky in general, as I have broadband only and nothing else, no phone or TV with them. However, I have been dealing with them for my Dad who HAS got these same issues that everyone else has with Error 400 and Sky can't seem to figure out the issue.

My Dad has been without Internet now for 4 days and almost nothing is working, other than a few episodes on Sky Quest ("Red"? I believe).

It's so weird. I wonder if it's because he has Sky Stream and Sky Talk...

Let's hope they resolve it soon. If I get any resolution for him, I'll be sure to let you all know! They're currently sorting a stuck "engineer visit" on the system at the moment that coincidentally is stopping them booking another one. Funny that.

@martymcfly I know this is slightly off topic to the discovery + issue but is  related to part of your post. If you are suffering from a complete loss of internet service, once its resolved you should be entitled to automatic compensation if there has been a complete lack of service for over 48 hours.

@martymcfly I have sky talk, broadband and sky glass and sky stream, the only issue I'm having is with discovery plus on sky stream everything else is fine.

I have 2 TV's on sky stream. On one I get the error 400 message. The other one connects to Discovery Plus but I have to activate each time I want to watch.

Just talked to Sky.  They don't think many people have the Code 400 problem (contrary to how it appears on the Sky community) I was told that Discovery plus and Sky engineers are "playing ping pong" over the issue that they at lease accept as an issue unlike the Sky website

 

I, a bit like the post office, was made to feel I was the only one with the problem and that it might take weeks for the engineers to sort out the issue..  It was siggessted that I should wait at least week.  Pity about the Australian Open.

I have been on the phone with a sky very nice  guy who tried to help but no results and he admitted that a few of us have the same problem.

Heads up for anyone new to this thread. You are not alone!


To summarise, don't waste your try trying to fix this 'error 400' issue as only Sky & discovery+ can do anything. Do however contact sky as to make them aware of the numbers affected.

Also having the same issue but also can't access channel 4 when selecting it from continue watching menu. They say they no about the problem but I think it's taking to long. As this has been going on for about 4-5 days. Paying for a service and not getting it.

I previously had same issue as you with regards to always having to sign in.

This was fixed by a factory reset and it's worked perfectly since.

Apart from this error 400 issue on my puck but not on my TV.

Hi, Channel 4 is a nightmare.

I spoke to them today regarding an issue with 1 x single programme not working when everything  else is. They asked for my email address to "send me some fixes" - that was 2 hours ago - still waiting!

I hate them because only my Wife watches anything in there and I get all the grief when it's not working 😂 which is unfortunately way too often!

I have 2 sky glass tvs discovery plus is only working on one of them and not the other?
