What method does everyone use to get the puck to turn on? I generally press the home key and that brings my puck and TV out of standby but occasionally it doesn't work and I have to power cycle the puck.

Have always used the power key top left on the remote.
It has not failed yet to turn on either of my pucks since Feb 2024, turning on Puck and then powering on its connected TV to the correct hdmi source.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

When it does not work, do you get any kind of error?
Assume you have the preferred settings on your Sky puck, set as follows;
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.

Re: Correct way to get Stream to turn on
@darling412001 I must admit I have never in the months of having Stream ever tried to switch on with the home button, but just tried it and it does indeed turn it on but obviously doesn't turn it off. As has already been mentioned the top left on/off button is the one to use.
