Constantly crashing

Haven't had the puck long !! Honestly didn't know what I was signing up for really!! If I knew I would be constantly streaming everything I  wouldnt have bothered !!! I left Virgin because of them having major issues in my area with broadband so had to leave !! Came to sky having been sold, as the best way to watch all your favourite tv shows !! Well that was a lie. I'm constantly turning my puck  on and off to reset it, the apps once on chuck me out in the midst of watching something for only for it to start back at the beginning. Constantly glitching !!  Delayed picture so the words come out yet the people are like 2 mins behind !! Honestly what the hell am I paying for I haven't watched one programme yet without having to switch it off and on again !!! Seriously who came up with this !! Bring back the normal telly for god sake !!

Re: Constantly crashing

@Fuminglady79   I can understand your frustration but obviously if Sky Stream was like this for everyone we would have all cancelled by now.  It is possible you have a faulty puck, so a call to Sky would be advisable as we are only customers like yourself.

Before you ring Sky just check these out as I will agree the puck is a bit fussy.  If you are not connected from your router to your puck by an Ethernet cable can your puck and router see each other or are there objects in the way?  If so change your setup to ensure there is a clear line of sight.  Secondly where have you positioned your puck?  It needs to be all by itself without anything touching it with a bit of space around it, and several feet away from other electronic equipment.  With regard to your router make sure it is not near a window or mirror.

If doing all that doesn't work let us know your internet speed that is another possible cause.  Don't give up it will work but I know it can be quite infuriating.
