Channel jumps

Watching tv channels, sometimes the screen is just going black, other times it freezes and jumps forward a few seconds. Or the source randomly changed so no longer on sky puck and goes into my normal tv, which is very frustrating. 

I've reset everything to no avail. 

internet signal is good, so I don't think that's an issue
