Cannot activate my sky stream puck

Yesterday I reset my sky streaming puck because I was getting an error message on sky sports main event using the red button. I reset the puck to the online instructions and have a message on my tv screen to link my account with a 6 number code. The link provided by sky does not work. http://www.sky.com/productsettings/streaming-tv/activate.

When I try to activate it through my sky login details I get a message that says Oops, there's been an error please contact a sky expert. I have contacted sky several times on the phone but without any solution. My last call this morning I was then advised to post my problem on Sky Community.

i am hoping that a sky expert can help me!

@Frederick1506  Make sure you are signed into your My Sky account at  https://www.sky.com/mysky If not sign in before entering your activation code.

 

During setup you must also be using the same email that is registered to your account. 

 

Once logged in go to https://www.sky.com/productsettings/streaming-tv/activate This is where you can enter your activation code that appeared on your screen during setup.

 

The following link is to a setup help guide: 

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-sky-glass-help 

 

If all else fails call Sky again for some additional troubleshooting (I know you have alrerady done so but persevere).

Thanks for your response! I'm using my registered mail for my Sky Stream account but I've found out that my details are not correct and therefore I'm not able to proceed with my set up.Ive called Sky again. yesterday and was told I must wait at least 72 hours to get this sorted.

Hi There you are not the only one I'm having the same issues with stream, correct email etc but the web page say ops problem call but they never answer. now they want paying for a service they have not provided  to me thats a brech of contract. Come on sky sort your selves out answer the phone calls not leave us hanging on for over an hour. We are now entering our second week with this problem.

Agree still having this issue over a week, i have updated as per instructions the puk but can not log into the activation web as it keeps saying ops there has been an error and to call. I have done this 3 times only never getting an answer. If i can't get through on the phone or load the activation code anywhere i'm just paying for something i', not getting. Please sort it out
