If you have broadband from a different supplier then yes, you can absolutely use Sky Stream with it.

I have broadband from sky  already ive just signed up for sky tv the hub one can I use it straight away

Sounds like you are having a new Sky broadband package with a new Sky hub/router  coming.

You will be able to use your Sky Stream on your existing broadband, until the new Sky broadband and hub is installed and arrives.
When your new Sky broadband hub/router does arrive, just go into the Sky Steam puck settings under Network and add the new connection details that come with the new Sky broadband hub/router.

The 'hub one'? Do you mean you've ordered Sky Stream and are waiting on the arrival of your Stream puck?

If so then yes, you should be able to use the Sky Go app to watch Sky programmes until the puck arrives. You will need to set up a SkyID if you haven't already done so in order to access it.

Ok,  if you already have Sky broadband running and your not changing your broadband as I assumed above, then yes just setup the Sky Stream to that.

Did you set up a SkyID when you ordered Sky Stream?

Sky Go isn't an app on the TV, it's available on mobile devices, tablets, games consoles and Apple TV boxes (but needs Whole Home on the latter) so you need to download the app onto one of those devices.

Only if you have a tablet, mobile phone, laptop, console or Apple TV box (and Whole Home subscription) and can connect that device to the TV via HDMI. 

Why not just wait until your Stream puck arrives - it'll be much easier. 

There is no Sky Go app on any operating systems built in to TVs.
