Buffering

Problem with consistent buffering on Sky Sports which occurs every few minutes and last for about 2 seconds (always at critical moments in the action). Download speed, or router location is not an issue. It seems the feed from Sky is inconsistent (production values/). This seems to be a constant issue with other sky customers as raised on the community site. Why has no one found and posted a definitive solution? Why should it be that customers have to find an answer. Why can't Sky respond to customer postings on the community site 
(don't they monitor whats happening on the site?)
