The incorrect region in Sky Stream

Hi

I have recently moved from Virgin Media to sky Stream

The regional TV channels are showing as London, but I am in Bedfordshire and should be getting Anglia

My daughter lives in the same postcode area and has Sky Q and gets the correct regional TV

I have tried online chat - they were not able to help but gave me a number to call

I called this number and was informed they were not able to help either!

Seriously? As a new customer to Sky I am not very impressed so far

Can someone please help? Surely this cannot be this difficult to resolve

Hi @Ray_J_Henley and welcome to the forum.  The region you receive is dependent on your post code.  You need to check that it is correct on your MySky account.  If it is then you need to call Sky but for them to say they cannot help is nonsense.  The Customer Service team may be unable to resolve the problem but should refer your problem to a back office team who should be able to resolve the issue.  This is a fairly common issue and is often reported on the forum.

Hi

Thanks for your quick reply.

I have checked the postcode and it is set correctly.

After running through the online chat, they said they could not help and gave me a number to call.

After calling that number and going through the automated menu system, this also stated that there was no help available on this system

Do you have a number that I can call to deal with this?

Hi @Ray_J_Henley  sorry to hear you are stil struggling with the region issue.  As I mentioned there have beeen many similar post on the forum so it must be something Sky are aware of and they would normally refer it to a back office team for resolution.

 

The forum doesn't allow phone number to be posted and the filters will block them.  If you look at the following link it takes you to a list of Sky phone numbers.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/viewing-help
