No service

We have Sky broadband and Stream...we've had the "pleasure" of neither for the past couple of hours. Rutland area. It would seem to be a national problem. Come on sky...sort it out, you offer a poor service for quite a bit of cash and you tied me into a contract that I didn't realise was so long, so the least you can do is provide the bleddy service! This is not the first and probably won't be the last time.

Re: Sky glass can’t connect to internet

For some reason it's not been possible to watch the last two F1 races (Monza and Singapore) on catch up - like Sunday evening. And to make things worse there are thumbnails of the race and key incidents when your trying to find the race to watch which means you know the result. I called Sky about this and they said it was up to the local broadcaster when they allow their live programmes to be watched again. What's the point of Sky Glass if you can only watch the race when it's next broadcast, usually on Monday. Sky Glass was sold so you could watch anything on catchup otherwise you might as way stay with Sky Q and record programmes on a box. I suspect it's a licensing issue between Sky and the channel providers because these issues weren't around when Sky Glass was released.

Re: No service

Outages on any form of technology can and do happen....  The latest outage overnight is now resolved, well fo me at least!!

I would sugest a reboot (switch off and switch on) of all your systems including the router to reset the connectivity and then contact Sky if the problem persists

Re: My Internet went out last night, and now my telly won’t connect to the Internet

With a 1 minute gap between off and on.

Perhaps start at the router off... then off at each of your other devices ... then back on in the same order?

Then you're switching everything  on/off for 1 minute but not doing it one device at a time... saves a little time or perhaps a lot of you many devices😃

Re: 2 nights running my internet has gone down which means I can’t watch tv !!

Sky's DNS failed ... service restored so connection to internet should be restored for your devices.

If you can connect to DTT or DSat then you'll always have a backup!
