Brand new to Sky Stream and I cannot get Playlist to work with an App
Hi, I am brand new to Sky Stream and bought it because I thought that I could watch a program, click the red "plus" button and it would save it to my playlist. However, whilst this seems to work for any programs in the TV Guide, it does nit work for any programs in the Apps. For example if I am watching an old re-run or Dr Who on BBC iPlayer, it cannot be added. In fact I cannot add any programs from any Apps, like Disney, ITVX, Prime etc etc. I was told that this was possible so perhaps I am doing somerthing wrong??
Thanks for your help!

@skiies Hi. You can't save programs in apps to your Playlist but if you come out of the app and request the program you want to add to the playlist by using the Voice button that program will then appear on you screen and then you can save it to your Playlist. I hope that helps.

No you aren't doing anything wrong. The red "plus" button is only for using the EPG. Anything you watch on the apps (bar Disney+) will be on the continue watching rail, ie you've watched ep. 1 and ep. 2 will be there waiting for you. It can be a little flaky at times if you haven't watched anything for a while, but overall it's pretty handy.

Didn't know you could do that. You learn something new everyday. 😁

Re: Brand new to Sky Stream and I cannot get Playlist to work with an App
thanks for the info, really helpful - I think then that it is very misleading to have the following on the website, https://www.sky.com/help/sky-tv/sky-tv-stream/sky-stream-faqs/articles/sky-stream-faqs
Playlist and restart
Instead of a record button, just add shows to your Playlist using the + button on your Sky remote.
With Playlist you can add all of your favourites from live TV, on demand, apps including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+ and more.

I'm not sure it is misleading as it is true. You can add, for example, a show from Prime Video to your playlist, by searching for the show in Sky's search ( which pulls content from all integrated third party apps), and then add the show that way.
