The audio on live programs (sports, University Challenge) is at least a couple of seconds ahead of the visuals. Sometimes the visuals paus and buffer, but the problem persists. I have tried restarting the Sky puck as well as my (fibre) broadband router, but no change. This problem's been occurring for over a week now.

Hi @AM852 and welcome to the forum. This is quite a common problem which has been a problem on and off for a while. Sky are aware and and working on a solution.
There a a number of quick (temporary) fixes you can try. Flip to another channel and back again or rewind for a couple of seconds and then select the enter key to get back to live TV. Both of these tend to resolve the matter for a while and are very quick to do.
Another, possibly more long term, solution is to try different audio settings. PCM or passthrough generals seem to work but I found Dolby Digital plus worked best for me. The issue I was having was resolved by Sky a couple of months ago. What you are experiencing is a relatively new incarnation of the problem.
Good luck, hope it works for you.

Re: Audio and visuals not synchronised
Thank you for the excellent suggestions! Changing the channel did not work (I had tried it earlier), but the slight rewind did. Much obliged 🙂

Re: Audio and visuals not synchronised
@Karlfm Since my post above in December another way to get everything back in sync is to simply flip to another channel and back again. It works for me every time it occurs. Hopefully Sky will find a solution soon as this has been going on for a while now.
