Apple TV on Puck not working

I've had the Puck for a few days but I can't get Apple TV to work. I click the app but it just whirls and does nothing...

 

I've turned it on and off again, updated everything but nothing seems to work...

 

help please!

@Crazyrider Have you setup an Apple TV account and logged in.  If not you should still be able to  get a 6 month free trial through Sky.  See the following link which may help you: Apple TV

yeah I've already got an Apple ID but the problem is the app not opening.

@Crazyrider When you say you have updated everything did that include refreshing the apps in Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates.  This can take a few hours but is done in the background so you can still use your system.

 

Also, just to make sure Apple TV is working correctly try to log on your laptop.

 

Try that and it you don't have any success post back here and I will escalate the issue to the Community Messaging Team for you.

Hey,

 

yes a reset it on the day I got it about 5 days ago. I can login find on my laptop. 

as mentioned the app simply isn't loading and just whirls and stops.

@Crazyrider You seem to have tried all the obvious things.  I was going to escalate the post for you but see that it has been automatically escalated so I can't do it again.

Keep a look out for the speech chat bubble that will appear on the bottom left of your screen when you are logged onto this forum (you will need to refresh your browser from time to time or  you will not see the chat bubble). When the bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or the chat will be automatically closed.  Note, replies from Sky are not instant so you will need to regularly check the chat thread.
