Amazon Prime app not working on sky stream!

The problem is now solved for me - it turned out my puck had fallen back on connecting to a distant wifi access point, instead of the one near it which gives it the best connection. The nearby access point had recently been reset since there were other problems a while back. Presumably a poor wifi signal can result in issues handshaking the Prime Video connection (possibly packet loss?), which other services did not suffer from. Once I disconnected the puck from the distant access point and reconnected to the nearby one, Prime Video worked again.

Amazon Prime on Sky Stream is useless. Want to watch something old like Me Bean, it works, want to watch Clarkson's Farm, it doesn't. Plays the first few adverts and then stops Ad:15. Did the same with The Boys. Useless

Prime is by far the worst app (maybe 5) on stream. I've had bubble chats with Sky but only get the stock answers from the play book nobody actually listens to the issues which if they did may actually put things right 🙄

Sky have advised that the info they've requested from me will be 'passed to the team working on the resolution' and 'the team will get this back up and running ASAP'.

@Gezzer28 @DRUSSELL can you both tell me what you have tried please

Have you checked the prime video app on another device like  mobile phone tablet etc to see if your Sky Stream is listed in Registered Devices

If not you can manually Register a  Device  via the Amazon app on a mobile device or tablet

 if the sky stream gives you a code type it in lower-case in the box you may have to press the Register Device box twice until this screen appears 

I  don't have the Sky Stream but tried it with my FiretvStick after I had removed it from my Prime Video app.
