Already have Netflix Premium but want to downgrade Netflix by purchasing Skystream

HI i'm hoping someone can help. I have netflix premuim but i want to get skystream and save a few pounds by not having to pay Netflix premuim anymore.

Can someone explain how this will happen ? Whats the process ? I have done a lot of reading and yes I know im not gonna get billed twice etc (well hopefully i wont get billled twice) but will my Netflix premium automatically downgrade to Netflix with ads ?

This is my question. I no longer want premuim and will be happy with netflix with adds through skystream and paying less.

If you successfully link your Sky account with your Netflix account then that will downgrade your Netflix account to the "standard with ads". The way this works is that when you follow the activation/linking process on a Sky Stream puck, Sky Q box or Sky Glass TV it instructs Netflix that Sky are going to take over the billing of the Netflix account and will then change the status of the Netflix plan to whichever plan you have taken out with Sky.
