Short term/moving with sky
Hi there,
so my mum is about to move house in two weeks or so, but is currently without any tv service. If she took out sky stream would she be able to take it with her when she moves? Or is it too short a period? Also she's moving in with a friend, so won't be there for longer than a few months. Will she be able to once again move it with little fuss? I presume because it's just the box and no satellite it should be fine, but we just want confirmation that it should be nice and easy for her.
Thanks x

There's a potential problem if the address already has an active Sky account.

Re: Short term/moving with sky
The friend does have a sky box but it's a super old one from pre 2015 and only has the main tv channels available, so I think they're just using the UI. The menu is all old sky set up so I don't think they're have a current account.

Re: Short term/moving with sky
@emijanev As per @TimmyBGood reply, it would only be a problem if there was an active account at the address, best option is to check with the friend if they have a subscription or service with Sky.
