1 Puck or Two?

I ordered Sky Stream this morning, and after an hour long conversation I was sold Whole Home too. My order states I will receive 1 Puck. But surely I should receive 2?

You should receive two. The first one is free, the second is usually £39.95 as a 'set up fee' even though you're the one doing the setting up, oh and you have to return it at the end of your contract.

If you have a console or an Apple TV box, the whole home sub gives you Sky Go access on them.

Only if you specifically placed an order for a second puck and paid the one-off fee for it (the initial puck typically being 'free')

Some Stream users will subscribe to Whole Home to use the Sky Go app on an Apple TV box or a games console, and have no requirement for additional puck hardware.

Re: 1 Puck or Two?

I paid £39.95 and had a deal for Whole Home placed at the same time. So this should ensure I receive the second puck?

You would think so but it's probably worth calling Sky and getting them to check your order.

@wizzybyplane  no it won't unless you specifically order a second puck

you order confirmation should show how many pucks have been ordered

Re: 1 Puck or Two?

Thanks, but that seems highly disingenuous of Sky since they give you the impression that you will get all the equipment you need including setting up the fee for Whole Home. If they charge a fee for something, surely they should provide the equipment for the fee incurred?

If you ordered over the phone then calls are usually recorded so if you want to query what you were told then you should get back in touch with Sky.

I agree with you. A £39.95 set up fee should automatically include a second puck. After all, you shouldn't be paying Sky for setting up your own XBox, PS5 or Apple TV box just to run Sky Go with a Whole Home sub.
