Use Sky Store to with android phonr
Just moved, have no internet yet connection has a waiting time of over 3 weeks.
Only have our mobile 4G & 5G phone internet to use. I can watch sky store through phone. Is there any way we can use phone to watch sky store on our tv please?
Got teenagers so life could be fun over next few weeks whilst waiting for our internet connection to the house

Re: Use Sky Store to with android phonr
Morning @Sam2909
I can offer a theoretical answer - but I'm not at home to test it.
If you have unlimited free data and a Chromecast in guest mode (so not using external wifi) you should be able to stream most Skystore content from your phone to your TV. (Premiere rentals for example can't be streamed)
I don't think you can download Skystore content on to your phone using mobile data so you would have to stream it or download it when you are on wifi in a difficult location.
You may have an issue getting the Chromecast set up and in to guest mode though (without wifi)
Please do post again if you get this setup.
Do make sure also you aren't paying for your data on PAYG as it couid get very expensive very quickly.

What sort of Mobile contract do you have ... most are inappropriate for streaming data access!

Autocorrect 🙂 @Sam2909
I don't think you can download Skystore content on to your phone using mobile data so you would have to stream it or download it when you are on wifi in a different location.

Re: Use Sky Store to with android phonr
I have a sky mobile contract along with other sky products - just moved so having to wait for internet & tv as it's never been installed in new home. Have been watching sky movies just fine through my phone but screen too small to watch with members of family

I would support what @Exiled-in-HH hads said about data use @Sam2909
Unless you have an unlimited data package I would be extremely careful about streaming movies on a frequent basis.

Re: Use Sky Store to with android phonr
if you have a streaming device that supports the Sky Store app you can connect to your phone if it supports Hotspot functionality, but that depends on your data allowance and how restrictive your contract's fair use policy is.
