Theft

Just had 4.99 taken for Scream 7, purchase is nowhere to be seen and the Sky AI is as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Any ideas of why Sky are stealing money?

@Theives

On what devices did you purchase this film ?

If it was a rented one you can only view it on the device it was rented on, so if you used a phone/atbelt to view it you will be unable to watch it on a Sky Q box.

Morning @Theives

So a £4.99 charge for that movie represents a rental. If it's been charged to a bank account then it will have been rented on a device like a tablet / mobile.

if it's been added to your Sky bill it will have been rented on your Sky box.

I assume it must be a transaction you know about - so guessing it was something you rented on a device, you should log in to Skystore on that device.

(with a rental you can only view on the type of device you used for the transaction). So if you want to view on a Sky box you have to rent on a Sky box.

A rental should available for 7 days or for 48 hours after you start to view it.

the Skystore support team have a live chat but it won't be open till 11am Monday.

Re: Theft

Thanks for the advice, I'll chalk it up to experience and use Apple TV for my rentals instead.

Thanks for confirming @Theives

Just out of interest- what were the rental circumstances

these things help us advise others when we see similar problems occurring.

also some of the forum users do get the opportunity to feedback to Sky on issues that keep recurring so if you have time to describe the circumstances that would be interesting
