Yes sky don't seem to worry about the deaf community.surely they are breaking the contract by not declaring when you get a sky contract, that sky store does not work properly.netflix and prime are so far ahead in tech,at a fraction of what you pay for sky....
Afternoon @Alanbottles
Hope it's not too hot for you.
I got a message back from Sky. This movie should have working subtitles and this afternoon the Skystore team are attempting to re add them / reapply them
The request from Sky is - would you mind archiving Simulant (to take it off your Sky Q ) hard drive.
Then wait a few hours (not sure how many "a few" is )
and then re-download it from your recordings / purchases
Then - hopefully- subtitles
let me know how you get on

Your list of subtitled rentals link does not work
Yet on the sky store app on your smartphone it works. I have the exact same issue. For the same movie on my sky glass, I can't access my subtitles, but in my sky store app I can.
I left sky over a year ago because of the lack of subtitles. They have now started sending me bills for a monthly subscription which I know nothing about. I don't have any Sky services at all, I paid off my glass tv in full, and it's a bit weird that out of nowhere they suddenly want money from me but they can't (or won't) tell me why. Since leaving Sky I've been using BT for Internet, and smart TVs. Subtitles are always available whether I'm watching live TV, news, films, catch up etc. I do not understand why Sky is refusing to address this.
Yes I don't understand sky either they have never had the decency to get back to me..can not wait to get to end of contract and get out ..subtitles are a joke on cinema store.....
5 years later and still not an option
Hi @RachelLily
Sky is certainly not great for subtitles but there are quite a few buy and keep movies which have subtitles
I don't think the link is kept up to date - but you can often see the S for subtitles on Buy and Keep movies

Yes,totally agree..been with sky for years ,but I have a wife who is deaf, and they just don't seem to have her best intentions at heart,so as soon as I can ,it's time to give another server a chance,to see if they can cover my wife's needs,as our viewing trends are changing..skys concerns for my wife's problems over the last couple years seem to be money/profits first, customer satisfaction second..can not wait to get out of contract August..
