If you are a Sky VIP customer have you claimed your free movie as you get to choose from a large list of possible titles here if they show as £0.00 for you::

https://www.skystore.com/n/mvse/all-offers/sky-vip-welcome-gift

You can also go to the Sky Store on your Sky box and choose a movie from the Sky VIP section but again as they must show as £0.00.

  • Good point well made but to fellow customers, not Sky.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 24 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

If you do want to make the point direct to Sky @john1wolves

You could email viewer relations at

viewerr at sky.uk

Most of the "one off" free movie promotions   tend to be "family" movies (Ghostbusters / Jumanji etc)  - and although an animation- I would probably put Despicable Me in that category rather than as purely a kids movie

Hi @Mrshawley

are you saying "none" rather than "one"

There have been some confusing emails being sent out to VIP customers

They are meant to be reminders to customers to claim their free welcome movie - if they never have before

Most of us claimed a free welcome movie a long time ago - and so we don't qualify for a 2nd free welcome movie

The wording of the email has been fed back to Sky

There is a free Halloween movie - The House with clocks in its walls - so you should be able find that one at £0

If the film is showing as £0.00 @Mrshawley then just purchase it as normal, so if on the website select the Buy button.

Re: Sky VIP free movie. .

I've just tried downloading this as a VIP but it's showing at £5.99.  Don't want to click pay if it's supposed to be free?!

Hi @Hks73

Are you referring to the House with a Clock in its walls ?

If you are a VIP (and have been for at least 4 days) it should be showing as £0

You could try looking at the Skystore online, make sure you are signed in then select there if it shows as £0

Then - send to box. Does that work for you ?

Is it this film @Hks73 and are you logged in when viewing it:
