Sky Store Film Download Fail

Hi,

Having problems downloading a film I have previously purchased on Sky Store.  Other films I've bought download no problem, but this one particular film keeps coming up as "Download Failed" whenever I attempt it from within my purchases tab on my Sky Q box.

Has anyone else had this or know what's happening?

After the failed download have you archived it before trying again, also have you troed rebooting your box at the mains after doing this before trying again ?

I have thought of that.  It appears in my "recordings" section but there is no archive option, only lock.  There is also the download icon on the picture of the film but that just brings up that failed message again.

It is a shame Sky don't return useful error messages!

Spoke to Sky Store chat. After going through numerous options, they've said their tech team have acknowledged there's a fault at Sky's end with that particular film title.

Still waiting for them to fix whatever it is.

This is the same as me its just stuck in my Recordings tab and unable to delete.

Yes, same here.  Sat in the recordings but the only option available I have is to "lock".  The download icon is over the picture of the film, but just get the "Download Fail" message when I click on it.

Still waiting for the resolution though.

Yeah exactly the same situation happened to me. I'll definitely be calling tomorrow afternoon to try and get a refund.

Having exactly the same issue with Sunrise (2024) bought on 5th July. Anyone got any solutions yet?

Thanks. Just been speaking to someone, very helpful, the issue is the movie itself so they have to go and sort it out! Said they will text me when its fixed.
