Sky Glass Air TV not registering with Sky Store

I have been unable to plaly any movies rented from Sky Store on my Sky Glass Air TV. Everytime I try to play a movie my Sky Glass Air TV fails to register properly as a device with Sky Store. On playing a movie I receive the error 'Playback unavailable at the moment. Please try again. Code(1100)'. When I looked at the devices bening registered it initially tries to register my TV with the name Safari and subsequently as undefined.   

 

I have contacted Sky about this on numerous occassions and on the last occassion I was told that Sky Store does not work with Sky Glass Air tvs which I find hard to believe.

 

To try and rectify the problem, I have retarted my Sky Glass Air TV, reset it and set it up again, updated all apps and switched from a Wifi connection to an ethernet one. I also believe Sky ran tests on my TV remotely but never contacted to say what they found. Also, Sky Store have said it is a Sky Glass issue as they have had to reset my device limit on a number of occassions.

 

Any help appreciated.

I'm having a similar issue. Shows glass TV as "(myname)_undefined_undefined" . Deleted all devices off and tried to get it to take but can only do this one time every month?

Hi,

 

I have still not been able to watch a movie from Skystore using my Sky Glass Air tv. To get around this I now rent my movies through Amazon Prime.

Have you got existing purchases from Store and are they working now?

Nothing I have rented from Skystore has played on my Sky Glass Air tv. The movies will play using a Sky Puck on my other tv. However to watch movies on my Sky Glass Air tv I rent them from Amazon Prime.

@irishmuff  if you visit https://www.skystore.com/n/adev/my-account/devices can you clear a device and then playback something?

I cleared every device off the system including through a pc and deleted everything. Now unable to use and devices until the 1st of next month. This issue has been going on since we got the glass tv in December

When I log into Skystore is displays my email address.

 

Regarding devices, I have had them deleted numerous times and to no affect.

I would try and reach out to the Sky Store Team again then @irishmuff as they are suggesting the issue should be fixed and they should be able to do something about your devices.

@Green252 and that is on your Glass Air? The app showing your email address at start up suggests it is trying to sign you in with the right accounts not then.

 

So what happens next?

 

Do you just get an error saying 1100 when trying to play something and then device limit reached? Contacting support they just reset your devices so you get 1100 again until all devices are used and then back to the device limit message?
