Renting

I have rented 2 movies. I have e mail confirmation that they are available to watch but they are not showing on my account. Anyone else had an issue with this?

Could you clarify- which device did you arrange the rentals on and which device are you trying to watch on ?

 

rules for rentals are different to those for purchases (buy and keep )

 

Also, how long ago did you arrange the rentals ?

I rented them around 3 hours ago using my phone. I used a cadburys voucher to pay for them. They are not showing up on my account on sky go or on the tv. I have e mails confirming I have rented them

How did you rent them via your phone, did you do it via the Sky Store app ?

Sky go won't allow you to view rented (or any other Skystore ) movies. You could view them on the Skystore app or on Skystore.com. 

 

if you have an LG TV on Webos 3 or later you could view on there (through the Skystore app) or most (but not the premiere ) rented movies can be sent from a device to your PC through a Chromecast if you have one 

 

annoyingly if you rent on Skystore.com you can't view them on your Sky Q box

You can't watch the rented film via Sky Go but you might be able to via the Sky Store app instead.

Im having same issue three rentals part cadburys voucher part credit can see them on my laptop but not on my tv sky had three emails to confirm purchases too??

If you have a look at my above post (post number 6) I think this may explain what you are experiencing. Not ideal I know but that's how Skystore rentals work

Is it worth me contacting sky as they're not viewed and can't be on my chrome book? I wasn't sure how to use the voucher via my tv?

Redeeming a voucher if you then want to watch on a TV can be annoyingly difficult if you don't happen to have the right technology. 

It's certainly worth a try to see if Skystore will come up with anything as a goodwill gesture. 

Their livechat will be open now and until 7.30pm
